Kenworth is the manufacturer of The World’s Best® heavy- and medium-duty trucks. Its network of more than 300 dealerships in the United States and Canada provides parts support and preventive maintenance, express services, and roadside assistance for all makes of trucks through the Kenworth PremierCare® Program.

Kenworth produces Class 8 trucks at plants in Chillicothe, Ohio, and Renton, Wash., and Class 5-7 trucks at the PACCAR plant in Ste. Therese, Quebec. The company operates a research and development center in Renton.

Kenworth T700s Knock $9,000 Off Danny Herman Trucking’s Monthly Fuel Bill

MOUNTAIN CITY, Tenn., May 9, 2011 — Danny Herman Trucking Inc., has seen its diesel fuel costs increase to over $4 per gallon, or about 33 percent more than at the same time last year. But the 35 fuel-efficient Kenworth T700s equipped with the PACCAR MX engine that the company acquired in 2010 have certainly helped ease the sting of those rapidly rising fuel prices.
