Kenworth is the manufacturer of The World’s Best® heavy- and medium-duty trucks. Its network of more than 300 dealerships in the United States and Canada provides parts support and preventive maintenance, express services, and roadside assistance for all makes of trucks through the Kenworth PremierCare® Program.

Kenworth produces Class 8 trucks at plants in Chillicothe, Ohio, and Renton, Wash., and Class 5-7 trucks at the PACCAR plant in Ste. Therese, Quebec. The company operates a research and development center in Renton.

Earth Tech Puts Kenworth T470s To Work to Shore Up Sinkholes

LAND O’ LAKES, Fla., May 27, 2010 — Soil stabilization firm Earth Tech finds its nine new Kenworth T470s, equipped with 10-1/2- yard McNeilus mixers, are ideal to haul a special grout to stabilize sink holes in Florida. The T470 has a gross vehicle rating (GVW) ranging from a heavy Class 7 vehicle at 33,000 lbs. up to a light Class 8 truck at 68,000 lbs.
