Truck drivers can now drive the entire length of U.S. Interstate 5 between Seattle and San Diego and parallel State Route 99 in California and get restful sleep without idling the truck engine, running down batteries or firing up an APU. Nationwide Network of Electric Plug-in Power Pedestals Sees Six More Locations Power Up

Shorepower Technologies has expanded a growing network of electric plug-in power pedestals by installing power connections to more than 150 truck parking spaces at six truck stops in Iowa, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wyoming. Plug-in power allows truck operators to pocket more of their hard-earned money rather than burn it with idling truck engines.
